Low migration flexographic overprint varnish. Barrier against water and humidity suitable for food use.
Product based on water-reducible synthetic resins, which produces a complete barrier against water and humidity. Suitable for waterproofing any type of paper.
Achieving an effective functional barrier will depend fundamentally on the type of paper, a very porous paper will require the application of several layers of the product, in order to create a continuous film on its surface.
The application system can be doctor blade, flexo or gravure.
The product air dries. Sometimes, and depending on the layer applied, it will be necessary to dry by convection or infrared air. Once dry, there is no risk of blocking or tacking.
