DYNABRILL METÁLICO is a high-performance water-based ink formulated specifically for flexographic printing on coated paper. Its advanced composition, integrating high-quality metallic pigments and specialized acrylic vehicles, delivers an intense metallic effect, outstanding gloss, and strong color intensity. It is perfectly suited for the premium packaging sector, labels, and graphic applications requiring a sophisticated, high-visual-impact finish, while ensuring uniform transfer, controlled drying, and excellent stability throughout the printing run.

Print with a metallic effect

Operational Advantages in Machine

  • Premium metallic effect: Delivers high gloss and intense color yield due to the high reflectance and stability of its treated aluminum pigments.
  • Excellent adhesion: Optimized formulation guaranteeing optimal anchorage and direct bonding on coated paper substrates.
  • High-speed compatibility: Fine-tuned rheology enabling consistent and uniform transfer in high-throughput flexographic systems.
  • High mechanical resistance: Highly stable behavior, offering strong resistance to mechanical handling and cross-hatch/rub tests.
  • Sustainability profile: Water-based technology with low Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) emissions, ideal for modern production environments.

Logistics and Handling

  • Equipment setup: Use of medium-volume anilox rollers (appropriate BCM for metallic pigment transfer) is recommended to prevent clogging and ensure a uniform, mottle-free laydown.
  • Drying conditions: Avoid thermal overload or excessive ink film thickness to prevent the metallic pigment layer from cracking.
  • Finishing and protection: Fully compatible with overprinting using water-based or UV protective varnishes to extend the printed material's durability and mechanical resistances.
  • Storage and shelf life: Store in tightly sealed original containers in controlled environments (between 5°C and 30°C). Strictly protect from freezing. Stir gently but thoroughly prior to use to re-homogenize and prevent metallic pigment sedimentation.
