Antigrasa NW-ECO-9 FC: Heat-Sealable, Waterproof & Greaseproof Technical Barrier

The Antigrasa NW-ECO-9 FC is a high-performance functional coating printable via flexography, engineered to provide comprehensive protection against oils, greases, and water in packaging applications. This technical solution allows for direct heat-sealing of the packaging without the need for additional plastic laminations, effectively simplifying the packaging structure. Available in both water-based and UV formulations, it delivers excellent dimensional stability and enhances printability, ensuring high efficiency on fast-paced production lines while strictly complying with food contact regulations.

Machine Operational Advantages

  • Superior oil and grease repellency: Blocks lipid penetration, preventing the formation of stains, grease halos, and the structural degradation of the substrate.
  • Integral waterproofing: Acts as a robust barrier against moisture, condensation, and liquids, maintaining the rigidity and flatness of the packaging throughout its lifecycle.
  • Optimized direct heat-sealing: Enables secure thermal sealing of the packaging without adding extra layers, which significantly reduces operational costs and simplifies the shift towards mono-material designs.
  • Excellent printability and anchorage: Creates a highly stable surface that minimizes mottle and ensures perfect adhesion for overprinted flexographic inks.
  • Superior industrial processability: Formulated for high-speed flexography, it offers a controlled COF (Coefficient of Friction) for automated packaging lines and maximum resistance during die-cutting, creasing, and folding processes.
  • Sustainable profile: The water-based option features extremely low VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) emissions, promoting the design of eco-friendly, recyclable packaging.
